fun gases

The Henderson Space and Science Center has a really great new exhibit called "It's A Gas" and we had a great time checking it out this weekend.  We got to explore atmospheric gases and the periodic table of elements with the kids!  There were really fun experiments with liquid nitrogen and Tesla coils.  The kids also had a great time playing with plasma balls and neon lights!

There was really cool artwork there that was all about lights, and gases.

Tyler going through the neon arch.

Siena experimenting with enormous helium balloons.  No matter how big they are, they are STILL lighter then air!!

Tyler turning on a neon light, just by touching it
(with a little help from the plasma ball)!
