To celebrate the vernal equinox, Kristen and the kids decided to head out to Calico Basin for a picnic and hiking! We had a great time, and even through most of the vegetation was still fairly dormant, the weather was great and we could see all of the new green starting to peak through for spring! Tyler had a good time on our nature walk - he got to see a toad by one of the natural springs and there were lots of lizard everywhere! It is such a pretty area and we had so much fun!

We decided to hike up the trail a little and check out the rocks! Tyler wanted to RUN most of the way - and you can't hardly slow him down when he sets his mind to it!
