landscaping

We had our backyard landscaped last week, with what we think are very nice results. Here a couple of pictures of our dirt before any work was done.

Kristen especially likes the lights that were put in around the yard, it makes being outside in the evenings almost irresistible.

Here are a few more special details that we enjoy...

This is our little pindo palm; the lights under it make the best shadows of the leaves on the walls at night!

The flowers planted by each column around the patio have their own little brick trim.

We have different vines planted all around the walls surrounding our yard.

And after watching the process, Kristen has a whole new respect for the amount of serious WORK it takes to landscape! Wow!
