While the wonderful Aunt Melody (Kristen's sister) came to visit with Grandma, our family made a getaway to enjoy some time having fun in the California sun. It was the first time Tyler and Siena had ever seen the ocean. Actually, it was Jason's first time seeing the Pacific. The beach was a HUGE hit with the kids. Tyler and Siena would have been happy to spend all day, every day of our trip at the beach playing in the sand and water! We went several times, but the kids just couldn't seem to get enough!
Tyler took to the water right away, this boy loves the waves!
Siena wasn't so sure about the vast ocean and it's salt water at first, but she warmed up to it pretty quickly.
