Kristen thought it would be fun to make garlands out of foam shapes with the kids to hang around the house. It turned out to be much more involved then we had planned! It seemed like a simple enough idea, but the garlands seemed to take on a life of their own, and every step of the way we ran into unforeseen complications. After a couple of days, the walls are finally adorned, but this is one craft project that almost didn't get made! :)
Siena was a little worried about the garland...
but she managed to tame (and wear) it nicely!
Tyler was a little more relaxed about his decorative string.
