A very kind neighbor of ours brought over some homemade pan de muerto (bread of the dead) for us today. It's traditional bread made for the Mexican celebration of The Day of the Dead. It was a fun, and delicious way to teach Tyler and Siena a little more about Day of the Dead and incorporate it a bit into our Halloween traditions. The Day of the Dead is a holiday to remember and honor ones ancestors and members of the family that have passed on.
