Update on Tyler's Heart

We went back to the pediatric cardiologist this morning for a check up on Tyler's heart (you can reference back to the May 1 post for the first visit). They did another in-office EKG and the doctor listened to Tyler's heart. The cardiologist said that nothing showed up this time - no mummer, no PAC's (premature atrial contractions)! Of course, it only means that nothing showed up during the few minutes that Tyler was under observation, and it could still be happening throughout the day, but it's still a good thing. The doctor said that he thinks this is a very good sign that it will never develop into any kind of a problem and may be gone!
The cardiologist was also impressed with the growth spurt Tyler has had in the last four months!
;-)
We go back again in another six months for another check up, and the cardiologist asked that in a year we do the 24 hour holter monitor again (which we are NOT looking forward to) just to really make sure that throughout the day, Tyler's not having a lot of irregular heart beats anymore.
But for now, everything is looking good!!

Hooray for TYLER!
